March 7- March 21, 2006

March 7: Depart for Cairo from JFK, New York 6:30 pm. overnight on plane.

March 8: Arrive in Cairo early afternoon and check into the Mena House which is a luxury hotel next to the Great Pyramid. After lunch in an authentic Egyptian café we will take a walk on the Giza Plateau... Evening group gathering. Overnight Cairo

March 9: Breakfast. Morning visit to Plateau to explore the mysterious Sphinx , the Valley Temple, the Solar Boat and either the 2nd or 3rd pyramid (which ever is currently open.). Overnight Cairo.

March 10: Breakfast. Visit the grand Saqqara step-pyramid complex, the ancient capitol of Memphis, the Red Pyramid, and Bent Pyramid. Experience an inspirational desert walk between the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid. Early evening shopping at the exotic Kahn al-Khalili bazaar... Overnight sleeper train

March 11: Arrive Aswan early AM. Board Nile cruise ship then tour Elephatine and the Botanical Island by felucca. An evening shopping experience at the Spice Bazaar. Overnight cruise ship

March 12: Sunrise at Isis Temple for a ceremony of the heart. Set sail for Kom Ombo, the temple of Sobek. and Horus. Overnight cruise ship

March 13: Experience the Temple of Esna dedicated to the deity Khnum and the magnificent Temple of Horus at Edfu. Afternoon to enjoy the splendor of the Nile. Overnight cruise ship

March 14: Arrive in Luxor. Disembark cruise ship and check into luxury hotel Visit one of the most beautiful sites in all of ancient Egypt- Hatshepsut's Mortuary Temple, then on to the Valley of the Kings, the funeral temple of Ramesses III at Medinet Habu, and the renowned Colossi of Memnon. Evening stroll through the Suk (bazaar) Overnight Luxor.

March 15: Breakfast. Morning visit to the largest and most splendid of all Temple complexes - Karnak including the Sekhmet Chapel. Sunset visit to Luxor Temple for a time of meditate and inspiration. Overnight Luxor.

March 16: Breakfast. Bus journey to Abydos and Denderah. We will explore the mystical mysteries of Osiris at Abydos and lift our voices in celebration at the Temple of Hathor at Denderah. Evening to explore Luxor Museum. Overnight Luxor.

March 17: Breakfast. Morning flight to Cairo then bus to Alexandria. Free afternoon to bask in the sunshine and swim in the Mediterranean. Overnight Alexandria.

March 18 Breakfast. Experience the newly re-opened Library, the remarkable Catacombs and Temple of Serapes. Relax - Swim - Shop - enjoy! Overnight Alexandria

March 19: Breakfast. Early morning return to Cairo by bus. Visit the awesome Cairo Museum including the Tut Treasures and Mummy Room. Evening visit to the Citadel. Overnight Cairo

March 20: Equinox sunrise ceremony at Sun Temple (or possibly between the paws of the Sphinx.) Private group initiation ceremony in Great Pyramid. Experience Cairo by night as we enjoy our farewell dinner on dinner cruise boat. Overnight Cairo.

March 21: Breakfast. Farewell to our ancient homeland. Flight departs at 9:10 am and arrives JFK at 3:15 pm.
